The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued two fines following Week 17 of the 2019 MLS regular season.
Adnan hands to face/head/neck
The Disciplinary Committee has found Vancouver Whitecaps defender Ali Adnan in violation of the league’s policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. The incident took place during the 36th minute of Vancouver’s match against the Seattle Sounders on June 29. As a result, Adnan has been fined an undisclosed amount.
Jones entering the field of play
The Disciplinary Committee has found Seattle Sounders defender Joevin Jones in violation of the league’s policy regarding entering the field of play. The incident took place in second-half stoppage time of Seattle’s match against the Vancouver Whitecaps on June 29. As a result, Jones has been fined an undisclosed amount.
